Meeting Lisa started with a networking event earlier this spring at Forward Spine Center in Golden Valley. That was only my third-ever networking event. If you’re a small business owner, I highly recommend attending one (or many!) that aligns with your clientele and business goals. Shout out to Dr. Madeline for creating and hosting a super fun get together.
Businesses had the opportunity to donate to the door prizes & I gave away a free headshot session. I pulled Lisa’s business card out of the fishbowl & we were finally able to connect for her session last month. I photographed several headshots and we chatted for a bit. I enjoyed learning about her business and interests so much! As a woman-owned small business, I find it so important and meaningful to connect with other women who enjoy what they do and want to share their passion for their work.
Seven Gates Birth is run by two women, Lisa and her business partner Katie, where together they support women before, during and after birth.
In meeting Lisa, I could sense her calming presence and genuine love for what she does. It’s no surprise that she became a Doula. Lisa is also a Certified Reiki Master where she performs energy healing sessions. In addition to being a Doula and Reiki Master, Lisa also offers birthing classes, yoga, post-partum massage AND so much more. She believes in serving women as they bring new life into the world as well as supporting their healing journey after birth.
