Things are starting to come together even more at the studio. I’ve always wanted to be able to provide a luxury-style service at an affordable price. Let me take you on a mini tour of my portrait studio amenities!
Newly added in the seating area, a coffee bar & mini fridge (not pictured). The mini fridge is stocked with cold bottles of water & french vanilla creamer.
I hope to have some prints up on the wall in this area in the not-too-distant future too.
A while back, I brought in a desk and purchased a lighted mirror. This has been a dual purpose spot that has worked really well. Makeup wearers love it because it is the perfect spot for touch ups and last minute checks. I’ve also been using this as my editing space when my laptop comes to the studio with me. I used to try to work with my computer on my lap but that is just not my style. On the corner of the desk, I also keep water bottles and light snacks stocked. Clients are welcome to any of those while they are at the studio for a session.
The final spot that I have that I’ve recently revamped is the changing area. This used to be just that, a clothing change space. Now it serves many purposes; a diaper changing table station, still a changing room, a comfy space for breastfeeding if moms decided they would like privacy and finally, a rack of items that I am slowing building up as a client-closet. I will have outfits for babies and small toddlers in-studio just in case my clients don’t know what to pick out or they just don’t want to buy an outfit just for pictures.
You won’t find another portrait studio with a luxury experience at such an affordable price. The best part is, I’ve been doing this for 14 years, so you know you’ll be getting the knowledge and quality from a long-time portrait expert.
