Just a quick little blog post to show you a before and after of this pretty little lady. I think it is fun to show a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes of a photo session. Hand editing each image is a large portion of the process. I hold myself to high standards when it comes to capturing these extremely important moments. I want you to look back on these and only notice the little details of your newborn; those precious eyelashes, tiny fingers, itty bitty toes, that amazing hair (or none at all!) and the sweetness of these moments because they go by SO FAST.

As a newborn photographer, I try to keep your baby’s images looking natural. This baby had jaundice (yellowing of the skin), so I did tone that down. Babies also tend to have some circulation issues so you will also notice that her hand on our left side of the image is less purple in the after photo. I also got rid of a couple scratches, some dry skin flakes & cleaned up the backdrop. Overall, she still looks natural, but I edited out the very temporary parts of the image.
