Behind The Lens | Hard Truths About Being a Small Business Owner | MInneapolis Photographer

Fun fact: I’ve been sick all week. Here is my current actual selfie. I’ve spent all week in pajamas & pony tails. I thought I would be better by now, but nope. I had two sessions scheduled today and one tomorrow that my clients have so graciously said yes to rescheduling. I have another scheduled on Sunday with open communication lines to let them know what is going on and the potential of rescheduling.

I had SO MUCH planned for this week. I’ve gotten new props in, new backdrops and light modifiers. I had been working on a studio redesign & reorganize that I thought I would get to finish this week but that has proved to be impossible. Luckily, a lot of my work happens behind the computer screen and I’ve been able to edit all week, but the sessions next week on top of the needed reschedules are going to keep me in a jam packed go go go week!

I’m so thankful to have such amazing clients that are willing to work around my schedule because one of the hard parts of being a solo business owner is no one else is here to pick up the slack while I’m out sick. Here is a peak at the little cutie’s photos I’ve been working on this week. You’ve likely seen them if you follow me on Facebook and/or Instagram. If you don’t, click the icons & give me a like or a follow!

I have SO MUCH to do and SO MUCH to show all of you. I’ve been working on some really fun things behind the scenes & these rescheduled sessions were set to showcase the new stuff so you’ll have to wait a bit longer. I have fun new outfits for the baby/toddler client closet. Loads of new props for the baby/toddler age and a pile of new backdrops too. Stay tuned for updates next week (I HOPE)!!!!!!
