I’m dreaming of warm summer days and gorgeous weddings. I recently had these two in my studio for a family session with their little ones. They wanted to get a wedding album, but I no longer had their images as their wedding was almost nine years ago, so I had them bring their images in so I could get it loaded into my album design platform & take family portraits.

J & E’s wedding was at the lovely venue, Rum River Barn & Vineyard. It was absolutely beautiful. My assistant & I started the day with capturing the details and the wedding party getting ready.

J & E chose to do a first look before the ceremony. This is such a great option if you have a larger wedding party & family so you have plenty of time to get all of the formals before the wedding.

The ceremony spot at Rum River Barn & Vineyard had the absolutely perfect lighting for the time of day J & E got married. If this isn’t something you’ve thought about when checking out venues, PLEASE ASK! Find out if the light will be harsh and you’ll be squinting the entire time. Ask about other spots on the venue property for different times of day.
