You guys! I think winter lasted all of two seconds this year. I believe this was our second snowfall of this winter season. The first being around Halloween and the second on Thanksgiving weekend, right?!?! I was in town for my baby sister’s wedding and hopped on over to this gorgeous family’s house the next morning to grab some wonderfully snowy family photos. It was COLD. These kids did an amazing job getting through photos in the cold wind.
I’m currently in-flight, on my way to one of the biggest photography conferences of the year. I’ve never been, but I’m super excited to experience something brand new. I’ll be learning from some of the best photographers in the industry and checking out all of the vendors at the trade show. I’m super interested to see what backdrop companies are there and what new and fresh designs they will have. I was hoping to be able to edit a session in-flight, but my USB drive is stowed away so I’m making the best of my time with what I have – and that’s images from this winter family session. I have a super, super quick layover in Atlanta and then it’s off to Louisville. I won’t make the mistake of leaving my USB in the overhead bin for the second leg of my flight!
I photographed T & B’s wedding years ago and I’m so happy that I now have been able to photograph their family. There is absolutely nothing I love more than having families grow with me. As my kids are getting up there in age, with my two older kids in high school and youngest in middle school, I love being able to reminisce in those wonderful younger years through the memories I capture for my clients.
