One of my absolute favorite types images to create are silhouettes. I’ve mostly done them for my wedding clients since I typically don’t photograph families/children in open areas or have off-camera lighting readily available, but if my clients are willing and able to get to the right spot, I love including silhouettes at family sessions too.

There is just something so beautiful about the colors of the sky against the shadows of the moment happening right in front of you.
