I’ve spent the last couple months volunteering a number of hours at school and many more hours at home working on editing photos that I’ve taken for Newsies Jr, the musical. I did several nights of headshots of the whole cast & crew to create posters for each one of them, which are displayed in the hallway outside of the Robbinsdale Middle School auditorium during the shows. I did a night of promo photos so they could use them to advertise for this awesome show. I’ve also been sitting in a few rehearsals so I can capture photos to display in a slideshow for the cast party after all of this is over.

I’ve only been involved in a sliver of this show. I cannot imagine how many hours the other volunteers have given to make this production what it is.

Performances are happening now at the Robbinsdale Middle School Auditorium! Last night was the first show (I definitely cried more than once–I am so proud of these kids!!!!). One more tonight at 7pm and two tomorrow at 2pm and 6pm. There are 70 kids involved in this production in the cast & crew. They are nothing short of AMAZING! Please go out and support them!
