Cheers to 40 years! My parents decided to renew their vows down in Florida to celebrate their 40 years of marriage this year. One of my sisters officiated & I photographed the ceremony. The weather was perfect.
I took my parents to “the spot” to take some pictures of just the two of them while “everyone else finished getting ready” aka everyone secretly decorated their place for the after party. I packed my tripod for this trip because of course, I needed to be in some of the family photos. But wouldn’t you know………I left the tripod back at the house we rented, which was over an hour away. SO! I told my dad I was going to go buy him a ladder (so I could set my camera on it). He decided to run and pick one out so he could get what he needed. The paint shelf was the perfect height to set my camera on for our family photos. It took two different remotes to get things working for our group pictures (good thing I pack extras!), but we did it!
Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!
